Simon
Fond of music and electronics, Simon is both an engineer and a musician. Pursuing a Ph.D in electromagnetics, he’s also teaching electronics fundamentals, embedded programming and physics of electronic devices. As a musician, he takes an active part in several musical projects, ranging from progressive rock to funk, electronica or even jazz. He experimented as a solo artist and in bands, both in studio and live.
He recently oriented his activities towards customization of vintage synthesizers, organs and effects. In 2016, he designed and built his own analog modular synthesizer, and formed Wavecraft in order to pursue its activities and share his passion.
Loïc
Engineer in electronics, Loïc van Oldeneel performed numerous jobs in scientific teaching (college and high school), university research (hardware hacking of cryptographic embedded systems), technical actions on particle accelerators and design of embedded systems for industry and museums, as a freelance for 10 years.
Musician, found of sound quality, of the links between physics, technology and perception of music and of pedagogy, he recently repaired a Hammond organ and a theremin, and currently works on the design of tube ampliers. He founds Wavecraft in 2016 with Simon Hubert in order to pursue its activities and share his passion.
